Thank you for all the help you and the other staff gave me during my visits to your medical centre. I was always made to feel at ease, both by yourself and all the other members of the team. The medical staff were totally professional, but also sympathetic and understanding to my needs. Each step of my treatment was explained to me, and I always received written confirmation of where I was to go next, and what would happen. There was never a time when I did not know my next step. I recently attended a Wellman Health Check at Medcare in Benijofar and the nurse on duty Ms McCrossan quickly flagged up some major concerns referring me to Urgencias in Torrevieja at once. The medical team in Torrevieja instantly administered specialist tests and treatments which all in all, may well have prevented a serious outcome. The tests at Medcare are still ongoing and my conditions are now comfortably under control. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Susan very much for her personal, prompt and professional attention throughout. Money well spent! (Gary, May 2018)
It was several years ago when I visited your stand at an exhibition and you were offering free blood pressure tests. My results seemed rather high and was asked to return for a second reading. With the high reading was advised to visit my doctor at the Salud. My doctor then put me on medication, which I had assumed was for my blood pressure. Since that time I have been taking those tablets. This year I took up your offer of a birthday health check. Again my blood pressure was high and when I showed Susan my medication she told me that the statins were for lowering cholesterol not blood pressure. When I visit the Salud for repeat prescriptions my blood pressure isn’t always taken and am just given the same prescription. When I saw my doctor, with your results, my medication was changed. Had it not been for Susan I don’t know what the long term effect of having the wrong medication would have been. All I can say is a big thank you and would advise everyone to have an independent medical examination. (SH, October 2018)

I had a facelift not to change my face but in order to look fresher and better. I am very pleased with the results. My friend’s are saying I look great and nobody has asked if I had work done. This is exactly what I wanted, and Dr Bernabeu assured me it would be very natural. While the staff at the clinic were very nice and especially Collette who was a great help, I still feel the fee for the administration was too high. That, and the fact that it took until I got to Spain to actually get a final quote was very annoying. It is essential that patient’s stay in Alicante for pre and post-operative care, so that is extra costs which must be considered. Medcare is probably more expensive then most European clinic’s but Dr Bernabeu was worth every Euro. (December 2017)
