Liposuction, or liposculpture, is a surgical technique used to remove fat deposits and reshape specific areas of the body or face.

It is most suitable for removing stubborn fat pockets that will not shift through normal diet and exercise. It is not, however, a substitute for good diet and exercise.

During liposuction, the surgeon inserts a thin tube, or cannula, into a small incision in the skin. The fat is then vacuumed off through the tube.

Liposuction can be successfully used to reshape many areas of the face and body, including buttocks, hips, thighs, chin, underarms and stomach. In men, the technique is increasingly popular for male breast reduction.

Best results are achieved on people of a normal weight who have tried diet and exercise but find that they still have problem areas where fat pockets remain. Liposuction will also give a better result where skin still has elasticity.

You can book a FREE consultation with the cosmetic surgeon to discuss your requirements and see if Liposuction is right for you. Call 966 860 258 or email doctors@medcarespain.com
