Meet our GP team

Dr Hussain, Medcare’s founding GP, trained and qualified as a doctor at Guy’s and St Thomas’ hospitals, London, in the mid-1990s. She then went on to train as a GP in Reading. Her further qualifications include the Diploma of the Royal College of Gynaecologists and Obstetricians and membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners.

Our nurse is a key part of the Medcare team and her skills, experience and friendly manner very much improve the experience of many of our patients. Susie trained as a nurse at Dumfries & Galloway College of Nursing & Midwifery, Scotland, and has specialist qualifications in critical care, diabetes and palliative care. She continued her nursing career in Scotland until 2004 when she moved to Spain, settling first in Menorca. Susie has experience in many branches of nursing, including geriatrics and mental health, emergency medicine, coronary care and intensive care.
